From October 29th to October 30th, 2016, the third password and security forward-looking forum sponsored by the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering at ECNU, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Shanghai Computer Society Information Security Committee and Fudan University was successfully held.
The Cryptography and Security Forward-looking Forum, co-sponsored by our school and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is held annually to discuss forward-looking academic issues in the latest research and development directions in the field of cryptography and information security. The forum was chaired by Prof. Zhenfu Cao. 15 experts who had made major discoveries in recent years shared their latest in the forum among them.
The opening ceremony was hosted by Prof. Xiaolei Dong. Prof. Dong introduced the background of this forum and expressed her gratitude to the organizing committee. Prof. Cao, the head of the Department of Cryptography and Network Security, gave a welcome speech, hoping that new ideas would be generated and new trends would be formed during the conference.
